The basis is a state-of-the-art single- or multi-cell TETRA radio network that flexibly combines voice and data communication (messaging, localisation, etc.). In addition to the wireless TETRA connectivity of all terminal devices, the infrastructure components communicate via standard IP connections in the LAN - this allows the system to be integrated into existing infrastructures or expanded flexibly and cost-effectively with commercially available components.

Funktel's TETRA communication network is an ideal platform for implementing a reliable, professional communication infrastructure. In addition, the systems can be connected to IP telephone systems, wired IP telephony, messaging and personal emergency call functionalities. The optimum scalability allows the radio coverage to be adapted to different areas by using a wide variety of system components and antennas. This makes reliable radio coverage possible in places that are difficult to access, e.g.
